I am ALWAYS checking out my local train yard for subject matter. What attracts me to this type of subject is the patina on the box cars and the graffiti...the messages they tell. I almost always crop in on the subject to create dynamic geometric/structural compositions. These subjects really allow me to caress the forms with paint and show dimension.
